This 46” Samsung 3D TV can be used as both 2D and 3D. Those that have used this TV for gaming have loved it. Other positive comments have been that the glasses are the best in the business but they are not supplied with the set and have to be purchased separately. That said, the high definition is excellent and it is not difficult for the beginner to set up the TV to play in 3D.

Buy LG 55" Infinia 3D LCD HDTV

The picture quality on this TV has been applauded as has the price. Sound has been said to be excellent. Generally, the opinion has been that this is an outstanding purchase. The flat screen is particularly slim producing an elegant appliance - in fact, it is currently the thinest screen on the market!. Of interest might be the fact that this set is manufactured in Mexico so the factory is not far from home.

3D TV

Buy Panasonic 65-inch 3D Ready VIERA Plasma HDTV

This television is for those who love the action. It is particularly good at fast moving scenes and this means that sports viewing is a delight. It was considered a little dark by some, but not much. Ahead of the crowd, the Panasonic TC-P65VT25 doesn’t need cable as it is wi-fi ready. As this is the direction that Home Theaters are headed towards, if one is going to invest in 3D, it’s probably a good thing to look at the system being wi-fi.

I agree. It's absolutely fantastic. I also think that people are going to create more and more home theaters.

I saw 3D TV for the first time in a supermarket display a few weeks ago, and it was amazing - really amazing! I'd love to have 3D at home, but I think its not something you would want to watch all the time because of the glasses. It'll kill romance in the cinema too. How can couple kiss on the back row while wearing 3D glasses? LOL That said, if anyone reading here hasn't seen 3D TV, get yourself along to your local electronics store for a pre-viewing- you will be bowled over! Don't buy from there though - shop around - Amazon is cheaper!
